Mexican Independence Day Salsa

Strictly Come Dancing winners Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova discover salsa at Discovery's Mexican Independence Day Celebration in Brighton's Jubilee Square on Saturday 10th of September. Joining them on stage was our own Mariachi Band, traditional folklore dance group, and the lovely 10 year singing sensation Katalina. There was something for everyone, kids joined in, in the fun with face painting, piñata and entering our colouring competition. Both days visitors enjoyed the warm weather and our delicious Fajitas and Tacos was the main event, our Chef’s Bob Tinsley and Eimear Owens, demonstrated on the live food stage how to Spice it up, Top it up and Wrap it up.
