We're sorry to announce that we are closing our corn factory in Daventry. We made this difficult decision for commercial reasons following a review of our entire business operation.

Unfortunately this means that from July 07 onwards, Discovery Foods will no longer be producing Gluten Free Corn Tortillas and Gluten Free Mexican Recipe kits.

Corn is probably the oldest and most versatile ingredient in Mexican cooking, dating back to the pre-Columbian natives who considered it a gift from the gods. And therefore plays such a major role in the Mexican diet. So we will be actively looking at developing alternative corn based products very soon.

But did you realise that many of our sauces, spice mixes and accompaniments are gluten free?

You’ll find all these products on the Mexican shelf and we use the Coeliac Crossed Grain Symbol to give you confidence when shopping.
