The combination of onions, peppers and celery (commonly known as the "Trinity" in Creole Cooking) with ripe tomatoes and our special blend of herbs and spices makes this simple to prepare dish a delicious midweek stunner.

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 jar of 2 Step Discovery Creole Season & Sauce
  • 125g sliced mushrooms
  • 125g smoken bacon, diced

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Coat chicken breasts in oil and seasoning from cap.
  3. Heat frying pan until very hot and brown the chicken breast fillets.
  4. Transfer to an ovenproof dish.
  5. Add the mushrooms and bacon to the frying pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add Creole Sauce, bring to the boil and pour over the chicken.
  7. Cover and cook in the oven for 30 minutes.
