This is the one dish that gets everyone down to the kitchen in Discovery. It is the aroma of sticky ribs or sausages gently roasting in the oven. Sweet, smoky, sticky with just a hint of heat, our Sticky Ribs Sauce always tops our "Top 10 favourite sauce" poll.

Ingredients
  • 1 kilo of prepared spare ribs
  • 1 Jar Chicago Sticky Ribs Sauce

Note: Pork is the traditional meat, but lamb ribs make good substitutes, as do baby lamb cutlets or chipolata sausages

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place 1kg ribs in a large ovenproof dish, cover with foil and place in preheated oven for 1 hour.
  3. Remove the dish from the oven, remove the lid and drain off juices.
  4. Pour over 1 jar of Discovery Sticky Ribs Sauce, stir well and place back in the oven.
  5. Cook for a further 30 minutes or until browned and sticky.
