This is not an authentic Mexican dessert, but think comfort food. Take some fruit, any fruit. Choose some really good chocolate. Wrap inside a soft flour Tortilla, cover with custard and bake in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 385g tin apple slices or fruit of your choice
  • 4 Discovery Plain Flour Tortillas
  • 75g plain chocolate, broken into small pieces
  • 425g tin custard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Divide apples between Tortillas and top with chocolate.
  3. Roll Tortillas up pancake-style and arrange in an ovenproof dish.
  4. Spoon custard evenly over the top and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Cook in preheated oven for 20 minutes until browned and bubbling.
  6. Serve immediately.
