Quesadillas are the favourite street snacks of Mexico and one of those "must haves" whenever we cook at Discovery. Put simply, a quesadilla is a hot Tortilla sandwich. Whether you start with some of our favourite fillings or create some of your own, you will soon realise that they can be much more than that.

Ingredients

  • oil for greasing pan
  • 8 Discovery Flour Tortillas
  • 200g Emmenthal cheese, grated
  • 1 large red onion, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons of Discovery Sticky Ribs Sauce


Method

  1. Lightly grease a frying pan and put on the hob to heat up.
  2. When hot, place a Flour Tortilla in the pan, top with cheese, Sticky Ribs Sauce, red onion and Discovery Salsa and lay another Tortilla on top.
  3. Cook on both sides until browned and the cheese is melted.
  4. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  5. Cut quesadillas into wedges and serve immediately.
